Performance Food Group - - Responsibilities:
Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver and unload food and related products;
Performs pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and ensures vehicle meets safety standards in accordance with DOT regulations;
Communicates professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers; records and reports safety issues;
Completes required paperwork and accepts signatures and payments as applicable;
Unloads products at customer sites and secures freight and vehicle after deliveries
