Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Hematology and Oncology for a permanent, full-time position near Girard, Ohio. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a reputable healthcare team in a stable, long-term capacity within an outpatient and hospital setting. Ideal candidates should have over a year of direct Hematology/Oncology clinical experience (excluding RN, training, or general practice experience).
Position Highlights
Employment Type:
Permanent, full-time Setting:
Outpatient practice with some inpatient hospital responsibilities Patient Demographic: 50% adult, 50% geriatric Patient Mix: 75% Oncology, 25% Hematology Team Structure:
Work alongside 2 physicians within a multidisciplinary team Daily Caseload: 15-20 patients per day (outpatient), 3-5 (inpatient) Electronic Medical Records: EPIC system On-Call:
Required 10 days per month Essential Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a Hem/Onc-specific clinic or hospital setting (excluding RN, training, or general practice) Certification:
Board Certified NP or PA Licensure:
Ohio state license (or willingness to obtain)
Certifications:
BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain) Procedural
Skills:
Experience with VAD/CV catheter management, FNA/Biopsy, and intrathecal/intracavitary chemotherapy
Key Duties:
Participation in Tumor Board, ordering tests/imaging, prescribing Additional Requirements
Location:
Must live within a 40-mile radius of Girard, Ohio, or be willing to relocate Visa Support:
