Position: Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician Needed
Newforce Energy Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician for its Red Deer County shop. This role involves both preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and haul trucks in the oil and gas sector.

As a member of Newforce, your responsibilities will include diagnosing complex mechanical issues and performing essential repairs on various heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyman certification and have a strong background in diesel and hydraulic systems. This full-time opportunity includes both shop and field work, ensuring machinery operates safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic failures

• Maintain heavy equipment reliability through routine service

• Order parts and manage repair inventory

• Document all service and maintenance actions

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repairs

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience

• Deep understanding of electrical powertrain systems

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record

• H2S, First Aid, and CSO safety certifications
