We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Administration Officer to join the Carinity Education Gladstone school community. As the first point of contact, you will welcome and assist students and visitors and provide administrative support and record keeping for school operations, responding to requests/needs from staff, management, students, parents, and the community within a timely manner.
This role requires availability Tuesday to Friday (8:00AM to 4:06PM) each week.
Your Day-to-day Will Involve- Welcoming and assisting students, families, and visitors while managing reception, calls, emails, and enquiries
- Maintaining accurate student enrolment, attendance, and other school systems
- Providing administrative support to teachers and leadership, including correspondence, photocopying, and resource management
- Preparing invoices and supporting financial administration
- Promoting a positive, professional, and inclusive school culture while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all
You are passionate about supporting youth and their families. You bring empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with students, staff, and external professionals. You are organised, adaptable, and proactive in fostering a safe, supportive, and values-driven school environment.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative office procedures and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Possession of current Suitability for Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Experience in or knowledge of WHS requirements is highly regarded
