My client is a privately-held construction firm known for delivering comprehensive building solutions and an exceptional client experience. With more than four decades of combined industry expertise driving its approach, they specialize in preconstruction, design-build services, general contracting, and construction management for a diverse portfolio of education, commercial, and healthcare projects. With all projects local to the Greater KC Area, they are looking for a talented Project Manager with relationships in KC to join their growing team!

Job Description

• Plan and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet goals.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Prepare detailed project reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all phases of the project.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and maintain clear communication channels.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in project management
• Experience working on education, higher education, commercial, healthcare, or municipal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades.
• Proficiency in software and project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
