The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teacher to join our Carinity school community. Working with small classes, you’ll apply trauma-informed approaches and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. You will deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships, and support students to achieve their personal and academic goals.
About YouYou are passionate about supporting youth and their families. You bring empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with students, staff, and external professionals. You are organised, adaptable, and proactive in fostering a safe, supportive, and values-driven school environment.
- Current QLD Teacher Registration or ability to obtain mutual recognition
- Demonstrated experience in providing support and education for marginalised young people and those suffering as a result of Adverse Childhood Experiences
- Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
- Experience and/or knowledge in trauma informed practices in an educational setting or willingness to learn
- Experience in Mathematics teaching is highly regarded
