We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and have experience with various accounting software. This role involves preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The Tax Preparer will work closely with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters.

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Gather financial information from clients, including income statements, expense reports, and other relevant documents.
• Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Utilize accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, or other financial software to assist in tax preparation.
• Provide clients with advice on tax planning strategies and financial concepts to optimize their tax situations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations and changes in tax law.
• Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and answer any questions they may have.
• Perform 10 key typing efficiently to ensure timely processing of client information.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Sage) and financial software is preferred.
• Proficiency in tax software (Pro-Series)
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, corporate accounting, and math skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tax filings.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding client information.
• Must have confirmable experience in tax preparation.
