Security Site Manager

Location:

Near the Kansas City International Airport

Salary Range: $50,440 – $52,000 annually (Depending on experience)

Position Overview

The Security Site Manager is the on‑site leader responsible for the day‑to‑day management, oversight, and continuous improvement of contract security operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and provides leadership to the site security team to ensure consistent, professional, and high‑performing security services.

The Site Manager is accountable for operational readiness, staffing stability, compliance, reporting, risk mitigation, and fostering a strong security culture aligned with client values and Marksman Security standards.

Key Responsibilities Operational Management
  • Oversee daily security operations to ensure post coverage, patrols, access control, and emergency response functions are performed to established standards.
  • Ensure all security personnel are properly scheduled, staffed, and deployed to meet contractual and operational requirements.
  • Maintain operational continuity through proactive planning for absences, special events, shutdowns, and surge requirements.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews, site inspections, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance and service quality.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports, incident documentation, and operational records.
Leadership and Professional Conduct
  • Maintain composure and provide calm leadership during emergencies, critical incidents, or high‑stress events.
  • Exhibit sound judgment, professional communication, and decisive leadership under pressure.
  • Model Marksman’s core values of professionalism, accountability, and integrity in all interactions.
  • Flex duty hours as necessary to provide training coverage and observe Team Leads and officer performance across all shifts.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Leadership Expectations

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all operations, procedures, and security technology systems.

  • Communicate clearly and constructively with team members, client stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Ensure all training materials remain current and aligned with client and Marksman requirements.
  • Be available to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the event of emergencies or other critical situations as directed by Security Management or corporate leadership.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with local police, fire, and EMS agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of security supervisory experience – can be waived by Marksman management.
    • Industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lenel, Winteam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach, train, and mentor supervisors and officers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with client and Marksman standards.
