Walmart is looking for a self‑motivated and experienced refrigeration HVAC technician to support and oversee the repair, maintenance, and operation of our facility’s refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The successful candidate will use commercial HVAC and refrigeration expertise, along with hand, digital, and power tools, to complete a variety of jobs on a fast‑paced retail environment.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigerant HVAC maintenance, including large‑scale rack refrigeration
• Type I, Type II, or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass an MVR
• 18 years or older and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program (preferred)
• Mechanical license in the city or state where the job is located (preferred)

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand, digital, and power tools
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and associates, and document all activities
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and follow Walmart’s safety policies and environmental guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently
