- Gladstone is seeking a passionate, experienced, and proactive Senior Youth Worker
- Learning Support (SYWLS) to join our committed and student focused team.

In this rewarding leadership role, you will champion best practice youth work, providing guidance, support, and supervision to our Youth Worker team while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will play a pivotal role in empowering students to build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve meaningful personal and educational outcomes. Through strong relationships, support strategies, and a commitment to student success, you will contribute to creating brighter futures for young people in our community.

You are a compassionate and resilient youth work professional who is passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes. You bring strong leadership skills, a student-centred approach, and the ability to build trusting relationships in a dynamic and rewarding educational environment.

• A Diploma of Youth Work or a related discipline
• Experience supporting vulnerable, disengaged or marginalized young people to achieve positive outcomes
• A strong understanding of co-regulation practices and trauma informed approaches to behaviour support
• Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and mentoring Youth Workers in a complex or challenging environment
• Maintain accurate, timely and detailed case notes, records, and reports to support effective case management and positive student outcomes
• Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current Bus Licence (LR) or willingness to obtain
