Job Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26‑week assignment in Gladstone, Oregon.
Position Details- Start Date:
05/18/2026 - Duration: 26 weeks
- Hours:
40 per week, 8‑hour shifts - Shift: daytime

- Assess patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities.
- Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
- Participate in discharge planning and transition follow‑up.
- Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Proficiency in PC skills.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, bend.
- Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and equipment use.
- Mental resilience to handle frequent public contact and deadlines under pressure.
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
- Physical therapy experience; new graduates welcome.
- Additional certifications or licenses.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication.
- Strong patient care and clinical skills.
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend.
