About the Role

Join Avamere as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful difference every day. Our CNAs play a vital role in supporting residents with daily care, comfort, and dignity in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes.
  • Review patient care plans daily and update changes as needed.
  • Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in a resident’s condition.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including activity preparation, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
  • Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
  • Ensure residents’ rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
  • Passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
  • Current and active CPR/BLS Certification.
