Hartmann Young is partnered with an innovative fermentation-led food ingredients company that is redefining the alternative protein category through sustainable, scalable mycoprotein production.
Operating from Switzerland and expanding rapidly across Europe, the business has developed a proprietary fermentation platform delivering high-quality protein ingredients to food manufacturers, food service operators, and retail brands. Following continued commercial growth, they are now looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to drive market expansion across Switzerland.
Responsibilities- Developing and executing account strategies to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer partnerships
- Identifying new business opportunities across food manufacturing, retail, and food service channels
- Analysing Swiss consumer trends, market dynamics, and category opportunities to generate commercial growth
- Translating technical product benefits into compelling customer propositions and category solutions
- Collaborating with R&D, product development, and commercial teams to support successful product launches
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organisations and partner networks
- Creating impactful commercial presentations, sales materials, and customer-facing content
- Supporting trade shows, industry events, and customer engagement activities across Switzerland and Europe
- Monitoring competitor activity and market developments to help shape commercial strategy
- Has experience within food ingredients, FMCG, alternative proteins, meat, or adjacent food categories
- Brings a strong commercial mindset with experience growing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Has experience analysing market and consumer data to support commercial decision-making
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a build-from-scratch mentality
- Can confidently engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Is fluent in Swiss German/German and English, with French considered a strong advantage
- Is willing to travel across Switzerland as required
