Job Description:
Core-Asset Consulting is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to recruit a Business Analyst, based in Glasgow (hybrid working), on a contract basis until December 2026.
This role offers the chance to contribute to high‑profile finance and regulatory reporting transformation initiatives, working within an Agile environment and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business areas and regions.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous Business Analysis experience within financial services, or strong subject matter expertise gained within a finance or regulatory reporting environment.
- Experience working on change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to investigate data, identify issues, and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong documentation and process‑mapping capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a highly numerate approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, alongside collaboration and process‑mapping tools.
- Conduct business analysis activities in support of strategic data and process optimisation initiatives within Regulatory Reporting.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements, create user stories, and support prioritisation activities.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple departments and international locations.
- Lead and contribute to project work streams focused on the integration and utilisation of strategic data within regulatory reporting systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing updates and reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support issue resolution and escalate risks or concerns where appropriate.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of finance and regulatory change initiatives within a dynamic and evolving environment.
