Salary: £70,000 – £90,000
Location: Glasgow / Hybrid Working

Construo Recruitment is working with a growing contractor delivering a major Energy from Waste project in Scotland to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a 12‑month contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor with major project delivery experience to join a business during an exciting period of expansion. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2–3 days per week on site and the remainder remote.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of a large‑scale Energy from Waste scheme while helping establish the company’s growing presence in Scotland.

• Manage the commercial delivery of a major Energy from Waste project
• Administer and manage NEC contracts throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project costs, valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Support procurement and subcontractor management activities
• Produce accurate commercial reporting and forecasting
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Work closely with operational and project delivery teams to maintain commercial performance
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and financial targets
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial management and project delivery experience
• Knowledge and experience of NEC contracts is desirable
• Previous Energy from Waste project experience would be advantageous
