Salary
£41,838 – 50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on £48,227 per annum pro rata.)
ResponsibilitiesAs a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of lessons; the teaching of students and carrying out assessment and guidance activity where required. You will deliver National and Higher National level SQA Civil Engineering specialist units to a diverse range of students. You must have the ability to teach using digital platforms as well as the ability to contribute to teaching across the Built Environment curriculum.
Knowledge of Architectural CADis also desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree Level qualification in Civil engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience. A broad demonstrable experience of a relevant built environment vocational specialism is also essential. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate learning to individuals with a variety of learning styles.
