Elementary Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join our Temple Hill Elementary family! • Instruction & Curriculum
  :
  Develop and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned lessons across core subject areas such as language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Student Assessment
  :
  Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate learning.
• Classroom Management
  :
  Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment that supports academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Parent Communication
  :
  Maintain regular, professional communication with families regarding student progress, behavior, and academic needs.
• Collaboration
  :
  Work effectively with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success and implement school initiatives.
• Professional Development
  :
  Participate in professional learning opportunities and stay current with best practices in elementary education.
• Inclusive Learning
  :
  Support the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners, with appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Extracurricular Involvement
  :
  Participate in school events, field trips, and other activities that enrich the student experience.

• Valid state teaching certification or licensure in elementary education (or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Current background check clearance (or willingness to complete).
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
