Computer Programming Instructor in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Barren County Schools and the Barren County Area Technology Center
Barren County High School/Barren County Area Technology Center
Teach occupational preparatory classes in the Computer Programming and Web Development career pathways, including (but not limited to) Computer Literacy, Web Development Administration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and Swift programming language.
Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
Must have acquired (or be able to acquire) the national certifications applicable to the program area.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System.
Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
Salary:
Dependent on rank and experience based on appropriate salary table
