Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Solutions team as an Associate Lead Design Engineer - Water in our rapidly growing Glasgow office – whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

Here’s what you’ll do:
- Lead the design process across all project stages, from concept to completion.
- Support project setup and planning, identifying resource needs and technical requirements.
- Lead design teams and act as Technical Lead on key projects.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement and design risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with CDM and quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
What you bring to the role:
- Strong design leadership in water infrastructure.
- Knowledge of civil engineering design, hydraulics, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience managing technical delivery and working closely with clients and contractors.
- A passion for innovation and delivering sustainable solutions.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer Status, or approaching chartered status.
- Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
- Significant experience leading major water and drainage infrastructure engineering projects.
- Flexible to travel to other AECOM and client offices.
