* Perform engineering floor support, routine engineering tasks and assist in various engineering projects.
JOB DUTIES:
* Assist in the design and implementation methods of processes to improve product quality and manufacturing.
* Trouble shoots problems in equipment and or process to affect timely solutions and maintain continuity of production flow.
* Assist in monitoring and debugging new methods and processes to ensure desired results.
* Support continuous improvements and APS activities.
* Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Two-year technical degree or comparable technical experience, plus at least 2 years engineering/technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
* PLC experience required.
* Knowledge of engineering systems & methods in manufacturing.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Working knowledge of safety & environmental considerations.
* Strong oral & written communications.
* Proficiency with P.C. based software.
* Willingness to stay on a problem through completion.
