Graver Technologies LLC is part of Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. This role reports to the manufacturing engineering leadership and focuses on leading large‑scale process and manufacturing improvement projects within the assigned scope. The position requires between 5 and 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work with product development to introduce new products, processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Ensure production standards are capable and repeatable to support product launches.
  • Design, integrate, and maintain tooling, systems, and equipment on production lines.
  • Maintain departmental specifications and SOPs and recommend changes for repairs or upgrades.
  • Monitor processes, collect and analyze data, and generate reports and action plans.
  • Troubleshoot product, process or equipment issues and provide operator support and training.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors regarding equipment issues.
  • Provide engineering support for lean manufacturing programs, maintenance, cell layouts, and continuous improvement ideas.
  • Develop and implement yearly continuous improvement activities to improve safety, first‑pass yield, and cost.
  • Provide software support for all equipment and recommend part‑design improvements for manufacturability.
  • Support Quality Assurance in Process Change Notices, Non‑Conformance Reports, and Vendor notifications.
  • Support R&D in product design and development.
  • Scope large projects and develop Authority for Expenditure (AFE) for capital expenditures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong preference for filter manufacturing experience (especially meltblown filtration).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Understanding of current process controls software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and self‑motivated.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized and effective at time management.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
  • Safety conscious and quality conscious.
  • Experience with automation implementation is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.
