We are seeking a motivated Chemist/ Engineer to join our Adsorbents team in the role of Applications & Process Development Engineer/Scientist. This position plays a key role in supporting both commercial and technical aspects of our business. The Chemist/ Engineer will provide technical support to our sales team and customers, collaborate closely with the R&D team to support new product development, process scale-up, and optimization activities, support product validation, analytical characterization, regulatory activities, and help qualify new raw materials.

This role serves as a bridge between R&D, Operations, Quality and Commercial teams to support successful product commercialization. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and engineering skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

**** Position Summary
** We are seeking a motivated
** Chemist/ Engineer
** to join our Adsorbents team in the role of Applications & Process Development Engineer/Scientist. This position plays a key role in supporting both commercial and technical aspects of our business. The Chemist/ Engineer will provide technical support to our sales team and customers, collaborate closely with the R&D team to support new product development, process scale-up, and optimization activities, support product validation, analytical characterization, regulatory activities, and help qualify new raw materials.

This role serves as a bridge between R&D, Operations, Quality and Commercial teams to support successful product commercialization.  The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and engineering skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Applications & Technical Support**  + Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, including product recommendations, performance evaluations, and troubleshooting.  + Assist in developing technical documentation, data sheets, and customer presentations.  + Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical reports summarizing test results.
* ** Product Development and Scale-up**  + Collaborate with R&D scientist on formulation, synthesis, and performance testing of new adsorbent products.  + Support the development, scale-up, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products.  + Facilitate transition of new products from laboratory development to commercial manufacturing.  + Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale testing to evaluate product performance in various water treatment applications.
* ** Quality & Regulatory Support**  + Perform product analytical characterization and troubleshooting.
* ** Raw Material Qualification**  + Evaluate and qualify new raw materials in collaboration with procurement, operations, and R&D teams.
* ** External Collaboration**  + Coordinate work with external contract laboratories for specialized testing or analysis.
* ** Safety & Compliance**  + Follow established laboratory safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

** Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related field.

** 5+ years of experience in a laboratory or technical role within water treatment, environmental chemistry, materials science, or related industry. Experience in process scale up and product development is preferred.
