Reed Accountancy is partnering with a market leading multi-national organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.
The main purpose of the role will be to oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations across multiple global sites.
This is a business-critical role within a fast-paced and high-volume finance function, providing a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join a highly successful and expanding organisation.
The main responsibilities of the role are:- Overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple international entities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume AP department
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all AP processes
- Driving continuous process improvements within the AP function
- Managing invoice matching and query resolution where required
- Ensuring payment runs are accurately organised and executed
- Overseeing and assisting with payment processing activities
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across finance and operational teams globally
- Reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly controls and KPIs
- Leading, developing, and supporting AP teams, ensuring high performance and engagement
- Conducting regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and appraisals
- Delivering coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members
- Ensuring all processes are completed in line with internal controls and audit requirements
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable management position or similar leadership role, preferably in a multi-national organisation
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Confidence with stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high and consistent level of professionalism
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient in response to changing business needs
