Technical Assistance & Assembly

Company: Lynx Labeling Inc.

Location: Glasgow, KY (on-site; climate-controlled)

Compensation: $18–$28/hr (hourly; overtime-eligible)

About the role

We’re expanding our build and support team. You’ll spend some of your time assembling equipment (think nuts/bolts, wiring harnesses, control PC setups) in a clean, climate-controlled shop. You’ll also provide remote/phone technical support once machines are in the field—helping customers troubleshoot quickly and confidently.

What you’ll do

• Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies and full systems (fasteners, brackets, panels)
• Build and route wiring harnesses; label cables; tidy/evaluate panel wiring
• Set up control PCs (basic OS/app installs, imaging, updates)
• Provide remote support: phone/email/video troubleshooting, log tickets, follow through to resolution
• Assist with documentation: build notes, checklists, and customer support guides
• Collaborate with engineering on fixes and continuous improvements

What you bring

• Computer savvy with basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, DHCP/static, switches, Wi‑Fi)
• Comfortable with hand/power tools, torque specs, and measuring tools
• Clear, patient communicator on the phone and in writing
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and eager to learn — ready to take on new responsibility
• Able to follow procedures, stay organized, and close loops with customers

Nice to have (not required)

• Experience with industrial equipment, PLCs/sensors, or low‑voltage wiring
• Basic Windows admin (drivers, device manager, imaging tools)
• Reading drawings/schematics and updating simple docs

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (normal business hours)
• Occasional after‑hours support during urgent customer situations
