Shift HoursMonday thru Friday: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
OverviewWe are seeking Shift Manufacturing Operators to support manufacturing of filtration products at a U.S.
-based facility, part of the Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway company). The role is suited for individuals with 0‑2 years of experience in routine, repetitive assembly operations and close supervision.
- Assemble minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations on a workbench or conveyor line.
- Perform common tasks such as checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming, either manually or by machine.
- Carry out basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning.
- Perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and understand and follow all safety procedures.
- Perform and document production logs and product output.
- Document and report raw material consumption for all finished goods.
- Complete all required documentation related to the product produced (e.g., Bill of Materials, Lot Traceability).
- Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel.
- Provide data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.
- Assign lot numbers for material traceability.
- Ensure all operations conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Ability to read and understand specifications.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Ability to use various measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Computer literate and able to use a PLC interface.
- Manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Ability to work overtime periodically (all shifts), including weekends.
