What You’ll Do
  • Large Nursing Home striving to meet or exceed the personal and clinical needs of the residents to achieve their potential for self-determination and independent living in a safe and hazard free environment.
  • Performs acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skill based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.
  • Utilizing nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the provision of patient care
  • Provide care, counsel, and health teaching to the ill, injured, or infirmed
  • Promote health maintenance and prevention of illness
  • Perform medical treatment and administer medications as prescribed, intervenes when emergency care is required.
  • Supervise, teach, and delegate nursing care activities
  • Serve as a member of patients' treatment teams
  • Assist medical and other professionals in the provision of care
  • Perform nursing assessments on new admissions
  • Document essential entries
  • Check lab work orders and specimens prior to submission
  • Conduct and attend training
  • Explain plan of care to patients and families
  • Schedule patient's treatments in other units/facilities
  • Follow established policies and procedures
What You’ll Need
  • RN Licensure: active, current, unrestricted. KY or Compact.
  • New graduates welcomed
  • Ability to pass facility requirements
