We are recruiting Surgical First Assistants to join a rapidly expanding private surgical centre in Glasgow. These are full‑time, permanent positions within a modern, well‑resourced theatre environment.
The Role- Provide first assistant support across a range of surgical procedures
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Support efficient theatre flow and maintain high clinical and governance standards
- Proven Orthopaedic experience (essential)
- Ability to support across additional specialties such as general surgery, gynaecology, laparoscopic, or plastics
- Confident working within a fast‑paced theatre setting
- Qualified Surgical First Assistant (NMC or HCPC)
- Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to high standards of patient care and clinical excellence
- Salary up to £47,000
, dependent on experience - Full‑time, permanent role
