Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidat will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalised care.

Applicants should possess experience with children, childcare qualifications, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical volunteer fruit
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children’s curiosity and independence
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods ensuring their safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily routines
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
- Manage daily operational tasks within the nursery setting, including organising resources and maintaining hygiene standards
- Lead by example in behaviour management, demonstrating leadership and management skills to junior staff or interns when applicable
- Support the ongoing professional development of team members through mentoring and training
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily activities and guide team members
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation or home visits
- Ability to work flexibly within organisational hours to meet the needs of children and families
