If so we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and nurturing Deputy Pre School Manager to join our welcoming Pre School team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years professional who is passionate about outdoor learning, child-led exploration, and creating inspiring environments where children can thrive.

Working alongside the Pre-School Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of the pre-school while promoting high-quality EYFS practice both indoors and in our outdoor forest learning spaces.

- Friday 9am to 4pm
- Term Time Only

We are looking for the Pre-School Deputy Manager to have:

A strong knowledge on EYFS frameworks and curriculums

Understanding of OFSTED requirements and expectations

Must have leadership experience

Pre-School Deputy Manager

Job Role:

To promote a consistent approach working towards our visions and mission, improving the quality of learning and development in the company’s settings and deploying this.

Be a Designated Safeguarding Lead alongside the Manager (training will be provided)

Lead the team in the managers absence providing high standards of care and education for the children

To lead if needed, Ofsted inspections and work with other local authorities as needed

To support with company development.

Overall management of Health and safety alongside the manager

Review Staff development and implement improvement plans, alongside carrying out regular supervisions with the staff

Ensure your setting is meeting the company policies and procedures

Review setting development plans and target and update accordingly

Provide the team with regular training updates, and ensure they are completing their mandatory training regularly

Monitor and promote equality.

Lead the pre school in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.

Annual safeguarding training is provided to all staff and is an integral part of the setting’s Continued Professional Development training. All staff, volunteers and main contractors undergo appropriate DBS checks prior to appointment.
