M&S, Glasgow Central.

Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour. Additional incentive: an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £14.80 per hour.

Full‑time position: 40 hours per week, worked flexibly weekdays, weekends and bank holidays, 4 or 5 days out of 7.

• Take charge of creating a clean, welcoming atmosphere that surpasses customer expectations, consistently aiming to improve service.
• Guide and support colleagues, maintaining a safe working and dining environment whilst being the go‑to person for day‑to‑day queries.
• Coordinate team efforts, oversee the unit’s opening and closing, ensuring operational excellence, adhering to guidelines, and completing necessary documentation.
• Focus on operational efficiency, stay informed about unit performance, champion improvements and simplify operations.
• Recognise and celebrate exceptional service within the team, lead by example, and promote inclusivity and motivation.
• Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and make thoughtful decisions, ensuring the team’s success and delivering excellence in customer service.

• Shift times scheduled between 5:30 am and 11 pm, with night shifts from 10 pm to 8 am; must be available to start work as early as 5:30 am and work as late as 11 pm, and be available for night shift.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor or manager in a similar high‑volume hospitality or retail role.
• 19 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and required to handle and serve alcohol.
