Job Summary

Housekeeping Supervisor at Apex City of Glasgow Hotel, responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards, supervising staff and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest rooms are presentable by performing cleaning duties (cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms, changing linen, vacuuming, polishing and dusting).
  • Buddy and mentor new and current staff.
  • Engage with guests to promote loyalty and memorable experiences.
  • Maintain consistency with Apex cleaning standards and brand recognition.
  • Manage daily tasks in the Housekeeping Department.
  • Support team members to adhere to cleanliness standards.
  • Resolve guest enquiries efficiently with a positive attitude.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Deliver excellent cleaning and guest service standards.
  • Initiate and take ownership of tasks.
  • Be self‑aware and evaluate own and others' work.
  • Possess a customer service attitude with multi‑tasking ability.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Have a genuine desire to provide a warm welcome to guests.

Work Conditions

Permanent, full‑time, 40 hours per week. Shift patterns: 7:00‑15:30 or 7:30‑16:00. Requires a 12‑week structured learning program upon start.
