Job Introduction

We are looking for an experienced and motivated F&B
Catering Supervisor to join our team at HMRC Glasgow. You will supervise a small team, ensuring a high standard of food service while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Catering Manager in achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a small team of catering staff.
Ensure high standards of food service, hygiene and customer service.
Deliver team briefings, training and support to catering staff.
Manage stock, ordering, stocktakes and cash transactions.
Complete relevant administration, audits and payroll information.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
Manage allergy information and risk assessments.
Monitor catering equipment and report any faults or defects.
Support promotions and initiatives to increase sales.
Attend team and client meetings when required.
Support the Catering Manager and deputise in their absence.
Follow all company and client policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

Previous catering experience.
Experience carrying out a range of catering duties.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Computer literate and confident using IT systems.
Understanding of relevant food safety and catering legislation.
Willingness to complete all required training.

Desirable:

Previous supervisory experience.
NVQ or catering apprenticeship.
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
