AN EVENING IN THE LIFE OF NIGHT PORTER AT OUR HOTELWhat you'll be doing...
- Working on a late bar, ensuring our guests are having a great time
- Cooking a great breakfast ready for our early risers
- General cleaning duties
- Conduct regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest and property safety
- Collaborate with the front office and accounting teams to address any issues identified during the night
- Maintain clear communication with the day team by preparing handover notes and ensuring all relevant information is recorded
- Handle any emergency situations overnight, acting as the point of contact and coordinating with necessary departments
- This job is a 4 on and 4 off rota 2300 - 0700
- Previous experience in hospitality
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle guest enquiries professionally
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS)
- Flexibility to work night shifts and the ability to remain focused and productive
