Golden Fox Recruitment is working with a well‑established environmental consultancy that is continuing to expand its operations across Scotland. They are now seeking a qualified Asbestos Analyst to join their team in Glasgow, supporting projects throughout the Central Belt.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst looking for stability, varied site work and long‑term career development within a technically focused organisation.

As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering analytical services across a range of commercial, industrial and public sector sites.

Key duties of an Asbestos Analyst will include:

• Conducting 4 Stage Clearances in accordance with HSG
  248
• Carrying out air monitoring (background, reassurance, leak and personal monitoring)
• Fibre counting and analytical reporting
• Producing accurate and compliant certificates and reports
• Liaising professionally with clients and contractors on‑site
• Ensuring strict compliance with UKAS procedures and health & safety regulations

• BOHS P403 & P404 (essential)
• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Analyst
• Strong knowledge of HSG
  248 and asbestos legislation
• Professional approach and strong communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

• Salary between £32,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience)
