We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join our team in the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.
In this role, the successful candidate will undertake and coordinate laboratory-based investigations examining the molecular and biological effects of childhood pubertal suppression using banked ovine tissues. The postholder will join a multidisciplinary translational research programme spanning epidemiology, clinical medicine and comparative physiology.
The post offers a unique opportunity to generate novel mechanistic data relating to biological ageing, inflammation, oxidative stress, metabolic signalling and fibrosis The postholder will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals
