Sprinkler Fitter

Emtec Fire Systems (part of the Sauter Group
) is a leading sprinkler installation and maintenance provider delivering high-quality, compliant, and innovative fire protection solutions across the UK. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team in Glasgow covering the whole of Scotland.

• Install sprinkler systems, pipework, supports, heads, and valves to a high standard
• Work accurately from drawings and instructions
• Ensure all installations are level, aligned, leak‑free, and meet required specifications
• Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe
• Plan ahead and highlight material shortages, clashes or delays early
• Check and take ownership of your own work
• Follow RAMS, safety procedures and use PPE correctly
• Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Communicate clearly with foremen, supervisors and the wider team to keep things moving

• Proven experience installing fire sprinkler systems
• Understanding of BS EN 12845 or BS 9251 standards
• Confidence reading technical drawings with high attention to detail
• Skill in pipe fitting, threading, grooving and use of power tools
• Proactive, quality‑driven mindset, proud of first‑time right work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication and a positive, can‑do attitude
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid CSCS card

• Level 2 Fire Sprinkler Installation qualification
• LPS
  1048 Accreditation (or working towards fitter/trainee status)
• IPAF, PASMA, Manual Handling and first aid qualifications
