The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of the Glasgow site, with responsibility for the upkeep and improvement of facilities, equipment, and on‑site waste systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct general building and facilities maintenance across the site
* Carry out electrical maintenance, including diagnostics and fault-finding
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs promptly
* Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and company standards
* Complete job sheets, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately
* Support waste management systems and site processes
* Assist in the maintenance and testing of fire and intruder alarm systems
Experience & Qualities
Essential
* Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar hands‑on maintenance role
* Multi-skilled background – plumbing, joinery, electrical, HVAC, or similar
* Full UK driving licence
* IPAF certification
* PASMA certification
* Experience carrying out weekly testing and routine management of fire and intruder systems
* Strong problem‑solving abilities and a self‑motivated, independent work style
* Good communication skills and a professional customer‑focused approach
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience working in commercial or industrial environments
* Forklift licence
