Package & Benefits
  • Salary:
    Up to £42k per annum (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
  • Hours:

    40 hours per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance
  • Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting / rewires / electrical testing and all general electrical duties including mechanical & plumbing on site
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Maintain on-site log books, permits & site paperwork ensuring they are completed and up to date
  • Work as part of a mobile team; flexible, team-focused and client-focused
  • Role based predominantly in the Glasgow area
  • Callout rota on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 14 weeks)
Skills & Qualifications Knowledge & Understanding
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and experience in similar Electrical / HVAC / Maintenance Engineer roles
  • Facilities Maintenance background and experience in similar environments
  • Knowledge and experience of all electrical plant including Air Handling Units and their controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)
  • Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical installations, including wiring and testing
Qualifications
  • Approved Electrical Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement
  • Passed AM2 (English qualification) or SVQ level 3 Electrical qualification with a final trade test
  • Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation is a minimum requirement
  • Testing & Inspection 2391-52 Certification would be beneficial
