As an Electrician, you will be responsible for working as part of the Facilities Team to help deliver the following:

• Conduct maintenance, repair and installation work on all electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Provide the installation of temporary electrical mains for exhibitions, conferences, concerts and other events within the SEC.
• Ensure the maintenance and repair of all switch gear, cables etc used in the provision of temporary electrical mains.
• Conduct the testing and inspection of electrical installations on exhibition stands and similar installations.

• Sound understanding of electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, how they interact within circuits.

• Valid ECS card, 18 th Edition, 2391 (testing credentials).
• BS7909 – preferred qualifications.
