Overview
A position has become available within the IMAC Team - Branding and Installs for a Technician to be based in Glasgow. This is a permanent full‑time role working 40 hours over 5 days a week.
ResponsibilitiesAs a BIT Technician you will be expected to install and uplift all variants of lobby ATMs in line with SOPs and weekly updated schedules. You will also prepare and stage your own ATMs by loading full software, refurbishing, configuring, testing and re‑branding uplifted ATMs, so that they are ready to redeploy.
As well as attending installs and uplifts for machines you will be responsible for maintaining and installing bespoke ATM branding on the estate of ATMs across the UK.
Candidate ProfileThe right candidate will need to communicate effectively with various internal departments, as it is a customer‑facing role requiring excellent customer service skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate accurate record‑keeping and time management, the ability to follow procedures, keep up to date stock records and usage.
You should be comfortable working alone as well as being able to work as a team to complete tasks. A flexible approach to work, including working hours and UK travel and overnight stays, may be required.
Candidates with prior knowledge of ATMs and how to utilise internal programmes would be preferred.
Ideal Candidate- Strong electrical / mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- A very good work ethic to fit in with a hard‑working team.
- Good IT skills.
- Clean driving licence.
- Ability to think on their feet and be adaptable to different situations.
- Be able to work alone for long periods of time.
