** Role Overview
** Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for our entities located in the Glasgow region. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory. Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.

** n a typical day you will:
*** Perform routine service checks on several units across the region, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.
* Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
* React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
* Perform minor repairs.
* Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.

** What you will need to be successful.
*** Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
* Hold a UK driver’s license
* You have at least 72 months of experience in the elevator sector.
* You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
* You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
* You are comfortable communicating to others
* You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
* You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
* Elevator experience desirable not essential
