Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson (Plumber / Carpenter bias)

Using a company van to travel from your home to our pubs and restaurants in the Glasgow area. This role offers no evening or weekend work, no on‑call rota, and flexible working hours to fit around your personal commitments. The role is only available to candidates who live in Glasgow or within 5 miles of the city centre.

Working independently, you will cover approximately 40 sites within the Glasgow area, delivering general maintenance work such as:

• Basic cold‑water plumbing, including fixing toilet flushes and leaking pipes
• Woodwork and joinery
• Painting and decorating
• Floor and wall tiling
• Pest proofing
• Occasional larger works such as fence replacements, fitting of replacement kitchens and bathrooms

You will manage the ordering of parts, your van stock, and your own workload – logging all jobs on the IT system (training provided). You will use your people‑skills to build relationships with Area and General Managers to ensure they receive the best service from your maintenance work.

• Annual bonus scheme with potential to earn up to 20 % of your salary

• 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday to Friday) with flexible hours (e.g., 7 am to 2 pm, 8 am to 3 pm)

• Proven experience in a multi‑skilled trade role with plumbing and/or joinery, or with one main trade such as plumbing, joinery, or carpentry
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible approach to tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service focus
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions
• Ability to meet tight timescales

Optional: experience delivering maintenance works to multi‑unit retail sites or successful self‑employment would be advantageous.
