Shift pattern for this post is:
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, 15:30 on a Friday or a 5‑week shift rota.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Multi‑Skilled)Glasgow Royal Infirmary requires a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join the Operational Estates team to carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the hospital campus.
Post holder must be a time‑served mechanical engineer with a recognised mechanical apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ/HNC level (or currently working towards this qualification), with a minimum of 5 years post‑apprenticeship experience.
Primary role: carry out mechanical tasks. In addition, the technician will be part of a multi‑skilled technical team and deliver specialist technical services across all building‑services disciplines, including plumbing, HVAC, building and electrical systems. The post holder must accept a wide range of cross‑trade duties post‑training and plan and prioritise workload.
Electrical Maintenance Technician (Multi‑Skilled)Glasgow Royal Infirmary requires a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join the Operational Estates team to carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the hospital campus.
Post holder must be a time‑served electrician, qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations, completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and qualified to SVQ/HNC level with a minimum of 5 years post‑apprenticeship experience.
Primary role: carry out electrical tasks. Additionally the technician will be part of a multi‑skilled technical team and deliver specialist technical services across all building‑services disciplines, including mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, building and electrical systems. The post holder must accept a wide range of cross‑trade duties post‑training and plan and prioritise workload.
