We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our Team covering the Glasgow area. You will work as part of a team as well as lone working. Responsibilities include inspection and testing on occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. You will be provided with a company van and power tools; training will be provided as and when required.
Therole of Electrician will include:
- Inspecting and testing properties and completing any EICR's and remedials required, ensuring safety and compliance
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
- Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken
- Monitoring and maintaining good levels of van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition
- Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
- To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, AM2 or currently undertaking the qualification. Candidates will be required to bring original certification verifying proof of qualifications; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach
- This role will involve driving on company business. To drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
