Role Description

This is a contract, on‑site Handyperson role based in Glasgow. The Handyperson will carry out a variety of tasks, including basic repairs, minor plumbing, painting, decorating, and general upkeep of interior and exterior areas. The role involves working with tools and equipment, liaising with site managers or clients, keeping work areas tidy, and documenting completed tasks. The Handyperson will follow health and safety procedures, support other facilities staff when needed, and help ensure the property remains functional, clean, and presentable.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, basic repairs, and practical handyperson tasks in commercial or residential settings.
  • Ability to perform minor plumbing, painting, decorating, and basic carpentry safely and to a high standard.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues on‑site.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and safe use of tools, ladders, and equipment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized, with a focus on quality, customer service, and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in facilities, building maintenance, or a related trade is highly beneficial.
  • Full right to work in the UK and ability to commute daily to on‑site work in Glasgow.
