Domestic Electrician

Domestic Electrician – Glasgow – Salary up to £41,500 DOE

We are currently looking for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a growing and reputable electrical contractor working across Glasgow and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of installation, maintenance, and upgrade work within residential properties.

• Installation and replacement of wiring systems in domestic properties
• Consumer unit (fuse board) upgrades and replacements
• Fault finding and carrying out repairs
• Installation of sockets, lighting, and switches
• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
• Completing relevant job reports and certification

• Proven experience working as a domestic electrician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
• Full UK driving licence

• Testing & Inspection
• Experience with EICRs and landlord certificates

• Salary up to £41,500 DOE
• Overtime available at enhanced rates
• On call rota is optional
