The Experienced Window Fitter will be responsible for the installation of UPVC, composite, and aluminium windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing work sites, measuring and setting out openings, fitting frames and glazing units, sealing and finishing installations to a high standard, and ensuring work complies with safety and building regulations. The role involves identifying and resolving on-site issues, liaising with customers and the office team, and maintaining accurate records of materials used and work completed.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Glasgow Area, with work primarily carried out at customer locations and occasionally at the Clydebank factory. The position may require travel across Scotland and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong window and door fitting skills, including experience with UPVC, composite, and aluminium systems, and confident use of hand and power tools.
- Solid understanding of site measurement, setting out, and reading technical drawings or installation specifications.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, safe manual handling techniques, and adherence to building regulations and industry standards.
- Good customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain work, manage expectations, and represent the company professionally on-site.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a window / door fitter in residential or commercial projects;
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Greater Glasgow
