As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels, restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards, and ensuring every repair is completed with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair damaged vehicle panels using approved body repair techniques.
- Remove and replace damaged body panels where required.
- Carry out panel alignment and structural repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Use specialist Bodyshop equipment to complete high-quality repairs.
- Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and Vehicle Damage Assessors to maintain an efficient repair process.
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure vehicles are ready for the next stage of repair.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused individual with a background in accident repair.
Alternative job titles include Panel Beater, Panel Technician, Body Repair Technician, Automotive Panel Technician, Bodyshop Panel Beater.
You should have:- Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong knowledge of modern panel repair techniques and manufacturer repair methods.
- The ability to work efficiently without compromising on quality.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing first-class repairs.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
