Static Maintenance Joiner

Morgan Hunt are seeking a skilled Joiner for static maintenance. This role involves preventative and reactive estate maintenance, focusing on building fabric, locking systems, and fire safety controls. You will contribute to the upkeep of a crucial facility, ensuring safety and functionality within the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on building structures.
• Maintain locking systems and fire safety controls.
• Collaborate with the estates team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and standards in all work performed.
• Provide references and demonstrate past experience in similar roles.
• Obtain or hold a basic disclosure certificate as required.

Qualifications:

• Time-served joiner with relevant experience.
• Ability to provide references from previous employers.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant vocational qualifications in carpentry or joinery.
• Additional certifications related to safety standards are advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance works, particularly in a public sector or similar environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to building maintenance.
