Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
If you like getting to the bottom of why something has failed, this is a role built around exactly that.
You will be carrying out aftermarket repairs on a wide range of components and instruments, testing and troubleshooting equipment, and digging into the root causes of failures rather than just patching over the symptoms. It is hands on, analytical work where your diagnosis genuinely matters to the customer on the other end.
The business behind this role is a respected name in a technically demanding, highly regulated field. They supply some of the largest operators and manufacturers in their sector, and they have earned that position by doing the difficult work properly. You will be joining a team where quality and precision are the whole point, not an afterthought.
This is a shift based position. You will rotate every two weeks between dayshift and backshift, and there is a 10% shift allowance on top of salary to recognise the early starts and later finishes.
What you will be doing:
- Performing aftermarket repairs on a variety of components and instruments
- Testing and troubleshooting equipment to confirm faults
- Analysing failures and identifying the genuine root cause
- Working to the standards expected in a tightly regulated environment
